Sorry mate but this film gets incredibly tedious after a while, one of the most character driven independant films I’ve seen in a while and the unresolved ending didn’t really leave me wanting more.
The film’s slow pace begun to test my patience like no other film, it appears as if the director is attempting to build further isolation from the protagonist, however in its entire running time it fails to produce anything interesting.
Films like ‘Elephant’ or ‘Ben X’ (which have a similiar feel/plot to this film) are a lot more interesting and easily grip your attention without being too focused on style over substance.
The trailor shown above gives the wrong impression about this film, it appears that there are more events to drive the plot than there actually are, the trailor is almost taking the most interesting parts of the movie and condensing it into a two minute montage.
Overall, I’d give it a 3/10 – the 3 being only because of its aesthetic which resembles Elephant and because the film was trying to convey a strong/memorable message.

elephant is one of my favorites but i haven’t heard of Ben X ,
